On August 9th, the "Bagua Cup" cross-strait college student design workshop Wuzhou Ceramics was officially launched in 2018, attracting 13 universities across the Taiwan Straits, including Asian University, Central Plains University, Kaohsiung Normal University, Fujian Minnan Institute of Technology, and Qingdao University of Technology. College students come to the competition.

The “Bagua Cup” cross-strait college student design workshop was hosted by the Fujian Provincial Economic and Information Commission, and Wuzhou Ceramics has been successfully held for two sessions. The event was held in batches from 15th to August 19th in the province. A total of 128 industrial design students from 46 key universities across the Taiwan Straits participated in the event. During the 10-day design workshop, Wuzhou Ceramics will lead 16 students to visit Dehua County Ceramic Museum, Yueji Kiln, etc., to experience the ceramic culture and landscape of Dehua, and to help students draw inspiration. After understanding the corporate culture, production process, product characteristics and market orientation of Wuzhou Ceramics, the students will design and create in a cooperative mode of two people, and optimize products and complete design results under the guidance of enterprise R&D personnel and follow-up instructors. Finally, the selection of outstanding design works.
